Scope
These terms apply to everyone who visits yuan-living.com. Using the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What the site is
This site presents YUAN: its research, its projects, its collections and the objects in them. It is a presentation, not a shop. Nothing on the site can be bought online, and nothing here is an offer to sell.
Where a price is shown it is indicative and may change without notice. Availability, condition, lead time and final price are confirmed only in writing, in answer to an enquiry. Many pieces are unique or made in small editions, so an object shown here may already be unavailable.
Accuracy
We take care that descriptions, dimensions and materials are correct, but they are given in good faith rather than guaranteed. Photographs reproduce colour and texture only approximately, and handmade objects vary from one piece to the next; that variation is part of them, not a defect.
Intellectual property
All content on the site is protected. You may read it, print a page for your own use, and share a link to it. You may not copy, republish, adapt or use any part of it commercially (including the images of the works) without our prior written consent.
The YUAN name and mark may not be used without permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its server, disrupt its operation, extract its content by automated means, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and up to date, but it is provided as it is. It may be interrupted for maintenance, and we do not guarantee it will be free of errors or always reachable.
Links to other sites
The site links to other places on the web, including social media. Those sites are not ours, we do not control what they publish or how they treat your data, and linking to them is not an endorsement.
Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our own fault, to the extent the law provides. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects the rights a consumer has under mandatory law.
Online sales
If purchasing is added to the site later, separate terms of sale will govern orders, payment, delivery, returns and the right of withdrawal. Those terms will be published here and accepted at the point of ordering; these terms of use will continue to cover the rest of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, and disputes fall to the French courts, without prejudice to any court a consumer is entitled to bring proceedings before under mandatory law.
